Updated Thursday, 7:30 p.m., November 10, 2022 based on results issued at 6 p.m.

Some 69,482 of the expected 117,000 ballots from Thurston County voters were tallied as 8 p.m. on Election Day yesterday.

There are 195,610 registered voters in the county. As of Wednesday at 6 p.m., the Thurston County Auditor’s Office reported on 84,613 ballots or 43.26% of potential voters. At that time, the Auditor's Office estimated that 35,000 ballots remained to be processed.

“It's gonna take a couple of days and we will process ballots and recent release results Wednesday and Thursday. Friday is Veterans Day so we will not release results on Friday,” Thurston County Auditor Mary Hall told The JOLT during an interview on Election Night.

“But we will release results on Saturday,” Hall added. “So we'll be working on Saturday.”

Election results can be viewed on the County Auditor’s website, with the current tallies. With some 35,000 ballots yet to be counted, most races are too close to call.
