Culvert replacement project: Road closure on Kellogg Dr NE, Olympia through October 23

Thurston County Public Works has announced a month-long road closure on Kellogg Drive NE to replace a failing culvert.

The closure, spanning from 72nd Ave NE to 7203 Kellogg Dr NE, will be in effect from September 25 through October 23, 2024. Construction work is scheduled for Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm.

During this period, traffic will be rerouted via 76th Ave NE and Kerbaugh Rd NE to maintain local access.

“Motorists are advised to plan alternative routes during the closure and allow extra travel time. The county appreciates the public’s patience as we make these necessary repairs,” stated the press release issued by Thurston County.
