Security guards should be carrying pepper spray, stun guns and batons. It is 2024, some people are severely inebriated or wired up on methamphetamine and very aggressive and extremely dangerous. Intercity Transit needs to change policies and be more willing to remove these people from buses. Buses are free but ridership is down, easy to see the connection between allowing these criminals to ride and the unwillingness of most of the public to go anywhere near a bus.
