23rd Anniversary Olympic Airshow, Weekend, June 17-18, from 9 a.m.
Commemorate the 23rd Anniversary of the Olympic Airshow. Come on the Father's Day weekend. Children aged 6 and under can come for FREE!!! Gates open at 9 a.m. and the show starts at 12 p.m. Click this link for more details.

41st Annual Juneteenth Celebration, Sunday, June 18, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Juneteenth is promoted as a commemoration of African-American freedom, and an example and encouragement of self-development and respect for all cultures. Enjoy a FREE BBQ lunch, games, entertainment, a presentation, and time to connect with your community as we celebrate Juneteenth. All community members are invited and welcome to attend. Fish Expo 2023, Weekend, June 17-18, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Fish Expo was created as a fund-raising event for Rods and Reels in Need, a charity whose mission is to donate fishing gear into the hands of those who cannot afford it, especially kids and veterans. The day-long event last year featured over 40 vendors, boats, food trucks, a beer garden, and a kid's trout pond. Fish Expo Beerfest and Concert, Saturday, June 17, from 6 p.m.
A premiere beer festival is making its debut at the Thurston County Fairgrounds featuring country music star Dakota Poorman. Tickets are on sale now for the "Wave The Flag Boldly" concert and Beerfest. There will be 40+ taps going, including the debut of Tumwater's Chapman Cider, which will have 4 taps of hard cider. 87th Annual Strawberry Festival at the South Bay Grange, Saturday, June 17, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Strawberry flats. Strawberry shortcake. Local vendors. Kid's activities. 5k Run/Walk. Entertainment. Come celebrate the South Bay Strawberry Festival on Saturday. Located at the South Bay Grange, the festival has been an annual tradition since 1936! Delicious Spooner Berry Farms strawberries and Wagner’s Bakery biscuits (an unbeatable combination) are available for pre-order (see the Facebook page for the link), in addition to family-friendly activities, and entertainment by local musicians all day! This year, it has at least 30 amazing local vendors and counting, sweet and savory food vendors, and best of all those fresh, sweet strawberries locally grown in Olympia. Save Fern Gully Forest Festival & Gala, Saturday, June 17, 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.
This free one-day festival to Save Fern Gully Forest will include fabulous games and fun activities for all ages, delicious food at the dinner gala, an auction, raffle prizes, drinks, and outdoor music! The Community Nature Foundation is a local nonprofit raising funds for environmental education and conservation to save a beloved community forest in Olympia this Summer!
