Heaven Adores You: A Film Journey Through Elliott Smith's Life, August 22-25, from 4 p.m.
Heaven Adores You, an intimate, meditative inquiry into the life and music of musician Elliott Smith, will have 10th-anniversary screenings at the Capitol Theater. The film will be screened at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, August 22, through Sunday, August 25. Tickets are available at the box office 30 minutes before showtimes. Click this link for more details.

Wine Tasting Meets Floral Art, Friday, Friday 23, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Native American Storytelling with Itsa Shash, Friday, August 23, 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Listen and participate in Native Storytelling with Indigenous Storyteller Itsa Shash, who is an Indipino storyteller, poet, and musician descended from Indeh (Apache), Nahua, Chichimeca, and Filipino peoples. Water and Sky Concert, Friday, August 23, from 7:30 p.m.

3rd South Sound Block Party, Weekend, August 23-24

Rose Photography Workshop, Sunday, August 25, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Learn how to take calendar-worthy photos of roses with Rich Baer, a nationally recognized expert in photographing these iconic flowers. Rich will discuss lighting, backlighting, focusing, background manipulation, and more. Once you learn how to photograph a rose, you can transfer those skills to other flowers, foliage, and so on. Click this link for more details.
