Timberland Regional Library's most borrowed items of 2022 include multiple New York Times Bestsellers, an NAACP Image Award Winner, as well as some tried and true classic children’s literature. Here are the top items in each listed category:

BOOKS

Lucky Day and Most Borrowed Book (in all categories): “Sparring Partners” by John Grisham, borrowed 440 times.

Adult Fiction: “Nothing to Lose” by Judith A. Jance, borrowed 431 times.

Adult Nonfiction: “The 1619 Project: A New Origin Story” by Nikole Hannah-Jones, The New York Times Magazine, Caitlin Roper, Ilena Silverman, and Jake Silverstein, borrowed 117 times.

Young Adult Fiction: “Heartstopper: Volume 3” by Alice Oseman, borrowed 64 times.

Young Adult Nonfiction: “Maus Part I: A Survivor’s Tale – My Father Bleeds History” by Art Spiegelman, borrowed 89 times.

Juvenile Fiction: “Dog Man – Mothering Heights” by Dav Pilkey, borrowed 125 times.

Juvenile Nonfiction: “The LEGO Ideas Book: Unlock Your Imagination” by Daniel Lipkowitz, borrowed 63 times.

Adult and Most Borrowed Video of 2022: “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” directed by Jason Reitman, borrowed 706 times. This was also the most borrowed item of 2022.
