Posted by 2theroots

Olympia is blessed with many large trees. They provide amazing benefits to the community in the way of climate protection through carbon sequestration, stormwater management, health benefits, and many, many more. Tired of discovering a beautiful tree in your neighborhood cut down?

Come to the Tree Ambassador training, learn tons of fascinating things about trees and prepare to walk the neighborhood and other neighborhoods with a partner engaging homeowners about the benefits of their trees. Help create a map of where the largest trees in Olympia are. Help to protect the remaining Giants!

Program by Thurston Friends of Trees & funded by the City of Olympia’s Inspire grant Program runs Sept -thru Oct & resumes after rain season March – June 2025
