Tom Fath at Thomas Architecture Studios

Tom Fath’s name is pronounced just like it is spelled but with no “I” (he says it is of German origin, meaning ‘bridge builder’). He moved to Olympia fairly recently, but he is not new to fine art.

Tom Fath’s work includes ribbon installations on wood found in old barns and paintings on canvas. The images he employs arrive at totemic, two-dimensional interpretations of urban culture and natural themes. Pieces of a puzzle that, when finished, make statements about our culture and nature. His narrative registers the relevance and the power of redemption and reclamation as a universal emotional need for our times.
