Readers can earn a free book by participating in the upcoming Online Summer Library Program hosted by the Timberland Regional Library.
The program runs from June 1 to August 31, and residents of all ages are encouraged to participate. To get a free book, readers need to register at TRL.beanstack.org or download the Beanstack app. After signing up, they can join different fun activities and challenges on the site to earn a digital badge.
Once readers complete the activities, they can collect their Certificate of Completion from the Timberland Regional Library. Plus, they will also earn a reward as they get to choose not one but two books for free.
The library also provides several activities for readers of all ages in nearby rural counties. They will also host a StoryTrails activity where families can enjoy nature while reading a picture book. The Storytrails are available at different library locations. The trail includes the Westport and Elma library in Grays Harbor County. In addition, the Centralia, Mountainview, and Packwood libraries in Lewis County are also hosting their Storytrails as well as Hoodsport and North Mason libraries in Mason County.
Aside from Storytrails, young readers can also enjoy other activities in the comfort of their own homes. Library staff can provide different goodies to take home like, Take & Make Activity Bags, Library of Things Bag, and even request their customized Grab Bags.
