TCMedia Studio A is transformed into an intimate club environment to showcase popular area musicians and their music and raise funds to support community media programming and services.
Thurston Community Media is launching a new event series to showcase regional musicians and raise funds to support its community programming and media education services. TCMedia Presents: The Studio A Concerts will include two shows in 2022, with several planned in 2023. The concerts will be recorded with a studio audience at the media center, 440 Yauger Way SW, in Olympia.
The series kicks off on Friday, September 23rd, with Olympia’s own Ethan Tucker. Tucker will perform Cool Kids, Crazy Nights, and other favorites as well as new material composed over the course of the COVID quarantine.
TCMedia will transform its production studio into a cabaret-style venue, creating an intimate, up-close experience for the studio audience. Attendees will also enjoy hors d'oeuvres and have a chance to mingle with the performers before the concerts.
ON STAGE SEPTEMBER 23rd - ETHAN TUCKER
Olympia native, Ethan Tucker, kicks off the concert series on Friday, September 23rd. He will perform Cool Kids, Crazy Nights, and other favorites, as well as new material composed throughout the COVID quarantine. Tucker has garnered well-deserved recognition in the music world for his trademark guitar and bluesy vocals. A pre-concert reception starts at 6:30. Music begins at 7:00.
The room is set with tables of 4. Patrons may purchase a table or individual tickets. Individual ticket holders will share a table with other guests.
