Learn how to take calendar-worthy photos of roses with Rich Baer, a nationally-recognized expert in photographing these iconic flowers.
Rich will discuss lighting, backlighting, focusing, background manipulation, and more. Once you learn how to photograph a rose, you can transfer those skills to other flowers, foliage, and so on. The workshop will consist of a beginning lecture and a PowerPoint program by Rich. Attendees will then visit the onsite rose garden, where they can practice their newly acquired skills with one-on-one tips from Rich. Following the garden session, we’ll reconvene inside for a critique of attendees’ photos.
