Poetry Reading and Writing with Olympia Poet Laureate Kathleen Byrd

Join this eco-poetry reading group on the theme of eco-poetry, Olympia Poet Laureate Kathleen Byrd will host and facilitate a reading session on Living Nations, Living Words, edited by Joy Harjo.

Bring a copy of the book (you don’t need to read the entire collection, but should have some familiarity with it). Kathleen will bring additional poems or readings to further our conversation. This series is focused on poetry reading, rather than writing, but still, you might bring a notebook to jot down inspiring thoughts.

On Wednesday, July 3, 2024 poetry reading session, 4 - 5:30 p.m. at Harbor House on Percival Landing. The book is Living Nations, Living Words edited by Joy Harjo.
