This seasonal writing workshop series will explore the poetics of place at Harbor House on Percival Landing. Each event will have a seasonal theme. Participants will be introduced to poetics of place and given opportunities to write, reflect, and share, responding to prompts that connect us to our own home place here in Olympia. We will also think about grief and hope as a collective response to climate change in our community. Please bring a sketchbook or notebook, pens/pencils, and wear weather-appropriate clothing to spend time outdoors! No prior poetry experience is necessary.
