Meet the Beach in 2024

Enhance your appreciation of the Puget Sound intertidal life while enjoying a day on the beach!

 

Join this FREE public program all summer long, held during optimal low tides at South Sound beaches. Knowledgeable Beach Naturalists will be on hand to teach visitors all about the diverse plants and animals that inhabit the unique estuary environment. Encounter sea stars, snails, crabs, jellyfish, and a variety of other marine life. Simply show up and look for the friendly naturalists in green vests.
