Initial arrest for child molestation

A man who rammed into two Thurston County Sheriff’s deputies arresting him on a warrant for child molestation has been sentenced to seven years in jail.

In May, a jury trial found Bradley Quinn guilty of a total of 10 counts: three counts of hit and run, two counts of second-degree assault, attempting to elude a police vehicle, first-degree malicious mischief, obstructing law enforcement, resisting arrest, and possession of a stolen vehicle.

The Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post that the individual was sentenced on July 3.

The Sheriff’s Office said that the Narcotics Task Force attempted in January to arrest an individual who had an escape warrant for first-degree child molestation. The man fled in a vehicle, ramming two task force deputies in the process.

A public engagement officer for the Thurston County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office told The JOLT that the Prosecutor’s Office requested a sentence of 188 months or 15 years.

Quinn had about 25 adult criminal convictions prior to the January incident, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Way to go judge! Give the scumbag the minimum. Those 25 convictions show he is just misunderstood, not really a menace.
