The Tumwater Recreational Basketball League is gearing up for an exciting season, and today is your last chance to register.
Boys and girls in grades 2 through 8 are eligible to join the league, which place a strong emphasis on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
While players from outside the Tumwater School District are welcome, priority team placement will be given to Tumwater School District players.
For those who made it to the league, practices will take place on weeknights, providing players with ample opportunities to hone their skills.
Practices will begin in the middle of October, and the action-packed games will run from November through late January.
The tournament are scheduled for Saturdays, with the possibility of some Sunday games.
All the basketball action will unfold in Tumwater School District gymnasiums.
The league is divided into three divisions, the C division will be for the 2nd and 3rd graders, B division will be for 4th and 5th graders and the 6th, 7th and 8th graders will comprise the A division.
Early birds get to enjoy a registration fee of $110 per player if registered before the September 29 deadline.
Late registrations received after September 29 will be subject to a fee of $120 per player but note that registrations submitted after September 29 will only be processed if there are still available spaces on teams or schools in need of additional players.

yup, the newest scam, sports only for those with the money to participate. with the taxes people pay, free enrollment should be without question. can't have the lower class cluttering up our hallways, though, can we. if this is an agency through the city, first-come, first-served, no charge should be the rule. **** this classist bullshit.
