Capital Lakefair is still open until this Sunday, July 16, at the Heritage Park in Olympia
This Saturday will be the event’s highlight, with the Lakefair Grand Parade kicking off at 4:45 p.m. and the procession going along Capitol Way at 20th and continuing down to 5th Ave ending near the bridge.
“The Lakefair Grand Parade is one of the largest in the region, and features entries of all kinds,” it said on its website.
Guests can enjoy live music performances, food, craft products and rides and games. There is also a grand finale fireworks show at 10 p.m. on Sunday. For a list of events and performances, click here.
Admission is free, with the gates open from noon until 11 a.m.
Based in Olympia, Capital Lakefair is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization offering scholarships and helping other nonprofits raise funds through the Lakefair event.
