Lacey police seeking alleged church burglar

The Lacey Police Department called on the public to help identify a man believed to have stolen from a church after breaking in.

Early morning on April 24, the man popped a door lock to enter a utility building at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church on the 2100 block of College Street SE, Lacey police said in a media release.

The suspect was pictured wearing a gray beanie, jacket, and dark blue pants. He was seen carrying a large object wrapped in a bright blue bag.

The man was in the building briefly before leaving on foot, according to Lacey police.

Authorities have established probable cause to arrest the suspect for second-degree burglary and third-degree malicious mischief.
