Intercity Transit adjusts service for Labor Day

Posted

Intercity Transit has announced that it will operate on a weekend-level service schedule on Monday, September 2 as Labor Day approaches.

This adjustment affects local and Express bus services and Dial-A-Lift, the specialized service for individuals with disabilities.

On the holiday, the Olympia Transit Center’s Customer Service will be available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. to assist riders with their transit needs. Despite this extended customer support, the administrative office will remain closed, and Village Vans, which typically serves local routes, will not be in operation.

Riders planning to use the bus system on Labor Day are encouraged to review the modified schedules to ensure a smooth journey.

Detailed information about bus routes and timetables can be found on Intercity Transit’s website at intercitytransit.com/plan-your-trip/routes. For additional inquiries, the Customer Service line is available at 360-786-1881.

Additionally, passengers connecting with other regional transit systems should verify any changes to those schedules prior to travel to avoid disruptions.
