Umpqua Bank’s branches and associates in Olympia will assist in raising money and collecting winter clothing, with all of the proceeds going to homeless families through Community Youth Services.

The bank officially launched its annual Warm Hearts Winter Drive November 29, a campaign aimed at supporting individuals and families struggling with access to housing and basic resources.

As part of this initiative, Umpqua Bank associates and local branches in Washington are working to mobilize communities for fundraising and winter clothing collection to benefit thirty-three shelters and aid organizations addressing homelessness in the state.

Umpqua Bank's Warm Hearts Winter Drive, which began in 2015, is part of the community-impact commitment inherited from the former Columbia Bank, which merged with Umpqua earlier this year.

Over $2 million has been raised since its inception, and this year's campaign is expanding its reach to support over 100 organizations across Oregon, Washington, California, Idaho, Nevada, and Utah.

David Moore Devine, Chief Marketing Officer of Umpqua Bank, expressed the institution's dedication to leveraging resources and collective passion to make a meaningful impact.

"Access to adequate shelter and clothing continues to be a major challenge for many of our neighbors,Devine said, and our Warm Hearts campaign empowers associates, along with members of our communities, to support local families in need."

The Warm Hearts Winter Drive accepts both cash donations and new winter clothes.

Contributions can be made online, and Umpqua Bank branches are also accepting financial contributions and new clothing items.

All Umpqua associates and local branches are accepting contributions and warm clothing from customers and community members.

Importantly, 100% of the clothing and funds collected will be directly donated to local shelters and aid organizations, ensuring that designated contributions stay in the community where they were raised and directly support local organizations.

In Washington, numerous organizations stand to benefit from the Warm Hearts Winter Drive, including Community Youth Services in Olympia.

Other participating organizations span across the state, from Aberdeen to Walla Walla.
