Contractors will begin pouring new concrete sidewalks and curbs on Boulevard Road near the Union Avenue Pathway and Wheeler Avenue in Olympia starting this week.
The work is related to improving the road trail crossing and bike corridor and is scheduled for June 5, 6, 10, and 11.
During this period, sidewalks and trail entrances in the area will be closed.
Flaggers will be present to escort pedestrians through the work zone.
Trail users can access the Karen Fraser Woodland Trail at alternate points on Dayton Street or Frederick Street.
The sidewalks and trails will be accessible during the evenings and over the weekend.
