The library is celebrating the long-awaited return of Olympia's Procession of the Species with two special after hours programs. Up first, otters & kelp!
Amy Olsen, a Research Scientist at the Seattle Aquarium, will present on the Aquarium’s research on Northern sea otters (Enhydra lutris kenyoni) including results from the annual population survey, as well as a long-term foraging study on what the otters are eating.
Amy will be joined by kelp biologist Max Wiecek from the Puget Sound Estuarium.
