Blintzapalooza 2023 by Temple Beth Hatfiloh

Yes, Sarah, There Is A Blintzapalooza 2023!

As Spring approaches and young (and old) folks’ fancy turns to, well, blintzes, the Temple Beth Hatfiloh annual festival is still here calling to you.

Just show up (drive, walk, bike, bus, pogo stick) and purchase on-site.  No need to order ahead.  First come first served so get there early!

Feel free to stay and schmooze like the old days, find old friends, and make new ones.

Doing good by eating well: Total net proceeds of Blintzapalooza, as always, go to support the tradition of Tikkun Olam, healing the world.  People are reminded of the tradition that charity and justice are the same words: tzedakah.

Beneficiaries: As always, part of the proceeds will go to partners at Interfaith Works for the extraordinary work they do especially in serving the unhoused with shelter, permanent housing, food, and services, but also, Quixote Village “Tiny Home” Sponsorship. This year, the organizers are excited to take part in Quixote Communities’ “Adopt a Tiny Home”  project by sponsoring at least one and maybe more (depending on your appetite for blintzes) tiny homes in Quixote Village Olympia. This pioneering community of 30 small homes, with a central lodge building with common kitchen and shower facilities, has provided housing for dozens of persons through the years who previously lived in encampments in the Olympia area.  Each sponsorship of $1,500 helps maintain one of these homes for a year.  Find out about this program and other ways you can help
