Olympia Family Theater (OFT) announced their next production, "Barney Carey Gets His Wings," slated to run from February 23 to March 17 at the company's theater in downtown Olympia.

The story features a boy named Barney who makes unexpected discoveries with his dad, including a set of fairy wings.

"But boys can’t wear fairy wings…right? Who made that rule anyway?" the play's poster challenges.

“Barney Carey Gets His Wings is a funny and poignant story of self-love and self-expression. Approximately 45 minutes and presented without intermission, it’s a short, sweet tale recommended for ages seven and up, featuring a cast of both adult and youth actors,” the press release stated.

OFT has an Access-for-ALL Program, and tickets to all MainStage Productions are now available on a sliding scale starting at $5, with a recommended price of $20.
