Ballots mailed to registered voters for Nov. 3 General Election in Thurston County

The Thurston County Auditor’s Office Elections Division mailed more than 205,000 ballots to registered voters in Thurston County this week for the Nov. 3 General Election. 

"Any registered voter who thinks they should have received a ballot, but hasn’t by (Thursday, Oct. 15) should contact the Elections Division at (360-786-5408) or elections@co.thurston.wa.us.," said the Elections Division in a news release on Thursday, Oct. 8.

Ballots for military and overseas voters, who are registered in Thurston County, were mailed on Sept. 18.  

A total of 31 secure ballot drop boxes have also opened in Thurston County. A list of drop boxes and addresses is included in mailed ballot materials, as well as online. Drop boxes are open until 8 p.m. on Election Day.

Ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 3.

"No stamp is needed to mail your ballot. Beginning two weeks before Election Day, do not mail your ballot, use a ballot drop box instead to ensure your ballot is on time," said the Elections Division in the news release.

The Thurston County Auditor’s Elections Division is a designated voting center during business hours beginning Wednesday, Oct. 14. Voters may register to vote, update current registration, obtain a ballot, or use a voting assistance device at the Voting Center.

The Elections Division is located at 2915 29th Ave. SW in Tumwater. The Voting Center at the Thurston County Atrium is located at 3000 Pacific Ave. SE in Olympia.
