Avanti High School held its graduation on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 12 to 3 p.m.
Avanti High School graduation is like no other. It is a true reflection of the creativity, passion and love that each of its students and staff share with the Avanti community. The sun shined bright for this incredible group of graduates, families and staff.
Avanti's commencement ceremony was held outside between the high school and its neighbor, Madison Elementary. The graduates were ushered in by Samba Olywa, a percussion and dance group based in Olympia. Teachers shared stories and personal memories about each student. After the touching remarks, students were given the opportunity to share their own hopes for the future, as well as thank their classmates and teachers who helped them navigate high school. It is a celebration that showcases the individuality and compassion that Avanti High School has for each student.
The crowd was loud and proud as the Class of 2024 turned their tassels from right to left, followed by high fives, hugs and celebration for these amazing graduates.
