That's mighty generous of the Port to give taxpayer money away so lavishly. Ms. Gibboney has been on medical leave June to September, then gets full pay September to February, plus health benefits and an extra $75K kicker. When the Port hires, does it include these golden parachutes in the employment contract, or just make them up willi-nilly at the inevitable end? (Port folk, if you are reading: 2 weeks and COBRA bennys next time. OK?)
