AugieH - yup that's exactly what my GP colleagues did. The loss of primary care docs and the bloating of specialty care has divided people into systems vs. whole.
JJ - it is no short-term misfortune I am afraid.
KatAshe - you so aptly point out the unique limitations that church run healthcare leaves us with. I have met a number of non-profit lawyers and state legislatures working to address these important issues around reproductive care and death - thank goodness. Glad you are one of the lucky ones with a still practicing independent and supportive physician.
