Women’s business conference is this Thursday – online again

The Washington Center for Women in Business (WCWB) will hold its INSPIRE Virtual Women’s Business Conference this Thursday, May 12, “identifying strategies for women to support other women.”

“We founded INSPIRE to create a radically inclusive space to talk about things like resiliency and trust among women, and each speaker will bring their own very real experience to the table,” said WCWB’s press release.

The conference, according to their statement, will center on identifying strategies for women to support other women and focus on Washington women in leadership, technical assistance and tips for growing businesses.

Attendees can participate in the following sessions:

  • Session # 1: 11:30 am - 12:20 pm. Choose from the following workshops:
    • What do community and omni-channel sales have in common?
    • DEI for Small Business 101
    • Bringing ideas to life – Empowering Women to Build Confidence…and Skills!
    • Accounting for the Non-Accountants, Understand your Numbers to Better Understand your Business
  • Session # 2: 12:30 pm - 1:45 pm. All attendees:
    • Government Resources for Small Businesses Panel
  • Session # 3: 2:00 pm - 2:50 pm. Choose from the following workshops:
    • 5 tips on Building/strengthening your business brand
    • Accessing Debt Financing
    • Networking Leverage
    • Finesse My Niche: Creating a Customer Avatar
    • Should I be a Certified Woman-Owned Business?

Interested participants can learn more and buy tickets at $25 each on the group’s website.
