Schirm Loop Homestead Lavender Farm Opening Day for this summer is Friday. They will be open every Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Labor Day. They have U'cut lavender, a small gift shop, plenty of pollinators, photo opportunities with Mount Rainier in the background, the Salish Sea, and lots of lavender as a backdrop.

Tumwater Family Festival & Nisqually Red Wind Casino Fireworks Show is the biggest and best fireworks festival in the county — and it happens on the Tumwater Valley Golf Course driving range every year on July 4!
Percival Plinth Project 2025 Voting (OLYMPIA)

Every June, a new selection of loaned sculptures by local and regional artists is installed on Percival Landing for the annual Percival Plinth Project. Then in July, the community is invited to cast their vote for one sculpture to be added to the City’s public art collection and remain on display in Olympia.
