Olympia High School Theatre Arts presents “Noises Off”, October 18-19, 24-26
Get ready to laugh out loud as Olympia High School Theatre Arts Department presents Michael Frayn's classic farce, "Noises Off," running from Oct. 18-19 and 24-26 at the Olympia High School Performing Arts Center.  "Noises Off" follows the chaotic lives of a touring theatre company performing a play within the play, titled "Nothing's On." Toast for Tails, Saturday, October 19, 5 – 9 p.m.
Toast for Tails is CFA's largest annual fundraiser, with proceeds from the event to fund its continued operation. They need Toast for Tails to be a success this year more than ever as they begin helping even more people. The virtual silent auction is free to participate in and the in-person event at South Puget Sound Community College in Lacey is ticket-based and attendees must be 21 years of age or older. Click this link for more details.

Boo-Coda Casket Race, Saturday, October 19, 1 p.m.
The town’s famous casket races start at 1 p.m. on October 19 on Main Street in front of Joe’s Place and the Bucoda Community Center.  There will also be Casket Races for other categories such as the First Responders, Media, Middle Schools, Families (two adults, three youth), and others. Click this link for more details.

Saturday Passport Fair, Saturday, October 19, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
As the only provider of full-time passport services in the county, the Auditor's Office is dedicated to ensuring accessible passport services for community members. In addition to passport application services, the Auditor's office also provides photo services for constituents in need of a new passport photo. Click this link for more details.

"Northwest Pastel Society | Members Show," September 27 - November 10, 2024
Spooky fun for All Ages: Build your terrarium! You’ll learn all about terrariums, why they thrive, and how to care for your own while building a one-of-a-kind tiny jungle. Childhood's End Gallery is proud to host the 2024 Northwest Pastel Society Members Show. Juried by Kim Lordier, the exhibit features 70 works by 63 members. Click this link for more details.

Making Mementos Workshop, Sunday, October 20, 2 – 4 p.m.
This workshop is an opportunity to embellish a photo of your loved one using hand embroidery techniques. Please bring with you at least one printed photograph already printed on photo paper (you may want to scan your original and print and bring just a copy for this workshop).
