Don't forget to go out to The Evergreen State College Longhouse on Friday and Saturday for the annual Native Arts Fair! I go every year to buy gifts directly from the artists. This is a wonderful opportunity to buy Native Art and talk with the artists. The prices are more than reasonable and supporting the Native arts community is a worthwhile way to purchase gorgeous, one-of-a-kind, signed art of exquisite quality and workmanship. There are fabulous baskets by a renowned Chehalis basketmaker, beautiful wood carvings, glorious art prints, hand-made jewelry, and far more. Plus, you can have lunch there with an Indian taco. I hope you check it out and have a conversation with talented artists.
