 Capital Lakefair week, July 17-21

Capital Lakefair runs from July 17 to 21 at Heritage Park. There are a wide array of rides and games for all age groups. There will be a parade, fireworks, main stage entertainment, non-profit food vendors, arts & crafts, and a car show. Click this link for more details.

 Corpses, Fools, and Monsters: A Trans Film Fest, Weekend, July 19-21

The Olympia Film Society (OFS) is screening six films selected by Gardner and Maclay, two of the best film writers working today, and their new book is poised to become a foundational text about cinema and queer history. They have selected the movies to screen at OFS and recorded a special introduction for each.  State Fair musical, July 25-August 3

Tenino Young-at-Heart Theatre presents Rogers & Hammerstein’s classic musical "State Fair”. The musical is set against the backdrop of the 1946 Iowa State Fair and reflects the essence of rural life.
