CarnEVIL by Love Local, October 28-30, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

CarnEVIL is a Halloween Fright Festival! Scare Zones, Haunted Mazes, Food Trucks, Performers, and Halloween and horror-related artwork and things will be available. My Morbid Mind Haunted House Attraction, October 28, 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

My Morbid Mind Haunted House originally appeared as a Halloween decoration on the doorstep of a residence in the Lacey area. To get to the front door and collect their treats, trick-or-treaters had to sneak through a little maze of horrors. This year looks to be the finest yet with a ton of new rooms, props, animatronics, pneumatics, and special effects! Do come down! if you're brave. Click this link for more details.

Boo Bash!, October 22-31, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The well-loved Halloween special of Hands On Children’s Museum is on! Dress up in your favorite costumes and bring your little ghosts, dinos, superheroes, and princesses to the Hands On Children’s Museum for a spooktacular good time. Enjoy Halloween-inspired fun and exciting activities without the fright. Lattin's Country Cider Mill & Farm's Pumpkin Festival 2022, October 29-30, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Come to the Pumpkin Festival at the Cider Mill & Farm every Saturday and Sunday in October! Since its establishment in 1976, this tiny, family-run farm has been working all year to provide you with the best fruits and vegetables. They are well-known for their tasty apple fritters and award-winning apple cider. Panhandle Lake Haunted Camp, October 29, 12 p.m.

From noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2022, children and their parents are welcome to a fun day of trick or treating in the woods at Panhandle Lake 4-H Camp in Shelton. Children can participate in carnival activities, have their faces painted, or search for the needle in the haystack! Check out the picture booth and nibble on some tasty treats. Trick-or-Read Drive Thru, October 29, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Join Big Brothers Big Sisters, South Sound Reading Foundation, and other organizations for its 3rd annual Trick-or-Read Drive-Thru at our Olympia office. This is a completely FREE event for all community families--you do not need to be a part of the BBBS program! The youth will get a book, candy, and other goodies. Watch Out for Unicorns and Narwhals at Downtown Olympia’s Free Trick-or-Treat Treasure Hunt! Trick-or-treaters who come to downtown Olympia Sunday, October 30 (the day before Halloween) 2:00-5:00 P.M. will find more than free treats. Trick or Treat Transit will provide a safe and fun family trick or treating experience for children in Centralia and Chehalis on Halloween Monday, October 31st from 3-5:30pm. Olympia Indie Music History Scan-a-thon, November 1, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Join the Olympia Indie Music History Project team, the City of Olympia Heritage Commission, and the Olympia Timberland Library in our quest to document, preserve, and present the history of Olympia's late 20th-century “Indie” independent music scene. Please bring any and all photos, flyers, zines, and other ephemera that you have from Olympia’s indie music scene between 1980 and 2002. We want to share your memories with the Olympia community and beyond.
