A Puget Sound Energy untility project is going to impact traffic along Black Lake Boulevard in the City of Olympia for a large chunk of June.

The project is scheduled to start on Monday, June 1, and run through Monday, June 22.  The utility work is going to take place on Black Lake Boulevard between Park Drive SW and Ken Lake Drive SW.  InfraSource is the contractor.

"Access to nearby residents and businesses will remain open throughout the project. However, commuters should expect traffic impacts on Black Lake (Boulevard) between (7 a.m. and 4 p.m.) daily," said the City of Olympia Public Works Department in a construction and traffic alert. "To help minimize delays, drivers are encouraged to consider alternate routes for the duration of the project."
