Car enthusiasts and curious onlookers alike are invited to make their way to Sylvester Park this Saturday, November 25, to witness a display of classic cars that spans generations.

Running concurrently with other Kinky Kringle Christmas events at The Olympia Ballroom the car show will run from 2 to 5 p.m. along Washington Street.  "Anyone who exhibits their car will be given 2-for-1 tickets to the 1950s-style dance at The Olympia Ballroom," according to Bernetia Johnson, organizer of the events.

This car show is free and open to the public. There is no fee to exhibit vintage cars.  It promises a visual feast of vintage automobiles and an opportunity for attendees to engage with fellow enthusiasts and share their passion for automotive history.

To accommodate the festivities, Washington Street will be temporarily closed to vehicle traffic between Legion Way and 7th Avenue from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Car Show and other Kinky Kringle Chrismas events are organized by Love Local Events WA.

I have to say I was very disappointed with this article/suggestion as there was not a 'visual feast of vintage automobiles'. I took my car enthusiast Father in Law there, arrived just after 3 pm, for his birthday with his wife and my family, but there was literally only a single 1970's Ford truck parked and nothing else in the blocked off area. Around the corner was a 'Herbie' bug but that's it. We planned the day around it and had to go do something else on the fly. The expectation was to see at least a dozen cars, but a single truck with no driver/owner around was very strange.
