In an incident earlier this month, police officers made an arrest after spotting a Chrysler with no license plates parked in a hotel lot, Olympia Police Department reported on their social media post.

Upon observing the Chrysler, law enforcement noticed two individuals leaving the vehicle and joining a third person in a Dodge Charger.

Suspicious of the absence of license plates on the Chrysler, officers conducted a routine check on the vehicle's VIN number and discovered that it had been reported stolen in an armed robbery in Kent.

The Dodge Charger returned to the hotel, prompting officers to conduct a traffic stop, with the three occupants being detained without incident.

During the investigation, authorities observed a firearm in plain view inside the Dodge, leading to a thorough search that uncovered another stolen firearm in the glove box of the vehicle.

The driver of the Chrysler was arrested and booked for possession of a stolen vehicle.

The passenger of the Chrysler faced charges of possession of a stolen firearm. At the same time, the driver of the Dodge Charger was arrested and booked on multiple charges, including possession of a stolen firearm and unlawful possession.
