Traffic revisions will be in place on Election Day, as a means to support accessible, safe and secure voting at the Thurston County Auditor's Office in Olympia.

The traffice revisions run from 4 p.m. to roughly 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3, said the City of Olympia in a construction and traffic alert.

What to expect:

  • Pattison Street will temporarily convert to one‑way traffic, flowing from Martin Way toward Pacific Avenue.
  • For drivers traveling on Pacific Avenue who need to access the voting site, detours will be provided.
  • The Pattison Street entrance to the parking lot will become entry‑only, while the Pacific Avenue access will be designated exit‑only.
  • Staff will be onsite to help direct vehicles to either the Ballot Drop Box or the Voting Center parking lot.
  • Signage will be posted on both Pacific Avenue and Martin Way to guide traffic through the revised routes.

"To help keep the area safe and traffic flowing smoothly, please obey all posted signs and avoid the area if possible during these hours," said the City of Olympia in the construction and traffic alert.

The Thurston County Auditor's Office is located at 3000 Pacific Ave. SE in Olympia.
