Tumwater announced that the north side of Trosper Road and the west side of Capitol Boulevard would have intermittent traffic stops from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, and Thursday, February 22.
The city’s press release added that the northbound lane of Capitol Boulevard at Linda Street will have intermittent closures to complete a gas line installation, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday, February 20 through Friday, February 23, 2024.
“These intermittent traffic stops are to allow equipment to move from one area to another,” Tumwater said. “Traffic control and flaggers will be in place to assist drivers through the work zone.”
The city explained that the measures are necessary to keep the construction of the Trosper Road roundabout so it can be open next week.
“Plan ahead and take alternate routes if possible, the city furthered. “Please drive slowly through the work zone and comply with instructions from flaggers.”
