Road construction will affect two busy areas of Tumwater this week.
Meanwhile, the crossing between Israel Road SW and Linderson Way SW will have its traffic lights in flash mode between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, March 5.
This traffic restriction is necessary to do additional curb and gutter work at the Israel/Linderson intersection,” the city said in a press release, “and pavement patching on Linderson Way and Market Street, as part of the Israel-Linderson Water Main Replacement Project.”
The southbound right turn lane of Capitol Boulevard at Tumwater Boulevard will be closed, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., on Wednesday, March 6.
The city explained in a press release that crews will be repairing pavement along the west side of southbound Capitol Boulevard and the northwest corner of Tumwater Boulevard SW.
“Traffic control and flaggers will be in place to assist drivers through the work zone,” the city said in both press statements. “Please drive slowly through the work zone and comply with instructions from flaggers.”
