Traffic disruptions at Legion Way and Plum Street intersection in Olympia, starts July 22

Starting Monday, July 22, the sewer pipe replacement project will commence at the intersection of Legion Way and Plum Street in Olympia.

The current undersized pipe, prone to backups during high flows, will be replaced to improve the sewer system's efficiency.

To minimize traffic disruptions, the work will be conducted in the evening from 6:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.

This project, which includes pavement removal and replacement, is expected to be completed by mid-August.

The intersection will remain open with traffic control measures, but motorists should anticipate delays and exercise caution.

Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead or take an alternate route.
