Motorists can expect traffic disruptions along Tumwater's Israel Road from I-5 to Capitol Boulevard and on Linderson Way from Israel Road to the 7300 block of Linderson Way on Monday, July 31, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Tumwater explained in a press release that contractors will be installing a new water main on the site.
“Two-way traffic will be maintained, using the outside lanes to keep traffic moving,” the city said.
Flaggers will be present to direct traffic as certain lanes close while construction crews connect the new utilities to individual properties.
Tumwater added that the roadwork is part of the city’s Israel Road Water Main Replacement project and that concerned community members may contact the Construction Information Line at 360-252-5408 or email Communications with questions or concerns.
