Thurston County teen arrested after investigation of a house party shooting

The victim, another teen, has been released from the hospital

A 17-year-old Thurston County male has been arrested in connection with an April 2 house party shooting.

The Lacey Police Department said the teenager was arrested on Wednesday afternoon on probable cause of first-degree assault while armed with a firearm and first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm.

The suspect was arrested after an investigation into an April 2 shooting outside of a house where a party was happening at on the 4600 block of Stonegate Street SE.

The victim, a 19-year-old Lacey man, has been released from the hospital after receiving treatment for his injuries and he is recovering.
