Motorists passing through Tumwater’s Capitol Boulevard SW and Lee Street SW intersection are advised to take care and note that traffic lights at the crossing will be turned off from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
According to the city, crews will be working on replacing a damaged signal cabinet in the area, and motorists should expect delays and find alternate routes if possible.
“Flaggers will direct traffic through the intersection, and additional signage will be in place to assist with traffic control,” said Tumwater. “Please drive slowly, and comply with all instructions from flaggers.”
