Shoplifting suspect targets Target

Local authorities are on the lookout for a suspect involved in a shoplifting incident at Target on Sleater-Kinney Road on December 22.

The suspect loaded a cart with various goods before leaving the store without making a payment.

According to the Lacey Police Department's social media post, the suspect fled the scene in a dark green Chrysler sedan, as captured in security camera footage.

The police are seeking assistance from the public to help identify and locate the individual responsible for the theft.

“Do you recognize this Grinch?” Lacey Police implored in the post.

Individuals who may have witnessed the incident or who have information about the suspect's identity are encouraged to call the Lacey Police Department at (360) 459-4333.

When reporting, community members are asked to reference case number 2023-6432 to ensure any information is directed to the appropriate investigators.
