Rhonda Kay Hubbard, of Olympia, Washington, passed away on Aug. 28, 2026, in Olympia. She was born on Feb. 29, 1968, and will be remembered with love for her steady presence, her faith, and the care she gave to both her work and her family.
Rhonda was a graduate of North Thurston High School, class of 1986. She went on to serve for more than 20 years as a Housekeeper and Dietary Aide at Puget Sound Health Care. Her long commitment to that work reflected a life marked by dedication, consistency, and service to others.
She was a member of The Bible Presbyterian Church of Olympia, where her faith was part of the foundation of her life. Outside of work, Rhonda enjoyed simple pleasures that brought comfort and fun to her days, including playing Yahtzee, color by numbers, word searches, and crosswords. Above all else, the time she spent with her family was her proudest accomplishment and deepest joy.
Rhonda is survived by her husband, Brian Walker; her son, Bradley Hubbard; her daughters, Rebecca Walker and step-daughter Amanda Walker; and her brothers, Dan Weaver and Jeff Herinck. She also leaves behind the love and memories she shared with each of them, and the lasting impact of a life centered on family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Anita Hubbard, and her sister, Debra Hubbard. As those people who loved Rhonda remember her, may they hold close the warmth of her companionship, the strength of her faith, and the many ordinary moments that became treasured memories in her presence.
