A bikini barista worker was allegedly threatened by a man wielding a knife-like object at her drive-thru window at 6 a.m. last Friday, September 24.

Michael Richard Shepard, 61, of Lacey, allegedly walked up to the drive-thru window of the Foxy Lady Café on 4120 Martin Way E, threatening the bikini-clad barista with the 10-inch-long sharpened metal object. The 19-year-old employee told the police that it was her second day on the job. (Listen to audio interview attached to this story).

Shepard allegedly told the barista “bitch, I am going to get you,” and began hitting the window with the knife. Shepard then proceeded to walk to the front door, attempting to open it.

Olympia police reviewed video footage of the incident. Law enforcement also obtained a metal object almost 11 inches long, which Shepard had allegedly been using in the alleged attack.

Olympia police contacted Shepard, who was sitting on the sidewalk in front of the café when contacted, wearing a camo-colored rain jacket.

Shepard was booked into the Thurston Jail for felony harassment.

The Foxy Lady Café, also known as the Lady Bug Café because of its lady bug design on the exterior of the building, is featured in the reality series “Foxy Ladies” on Amazon Prime.
