Parking restriction on Parkside Drive SE for Lacey's July 3 Fireworks Spectacular

Temporary designation as a fire lane - don't even think about it

Posted

The east side of Parkside Drive SE, along Rainier Vista Park from 45th Avenue to the southern boundary of the park, will be temporarily designated as a fire lane and closed to parking on July 3.

Any cars parked in this area will be towed.

This measure is being implemented to ensure the safety of attendees during the annual July 3 Fireworks Spectacular event.

The street has experienced significant congestion in past years, and the temporary fire lane will allow Lacey Fire District Three to quickly respond to any emergency calls.

For those attending the event, on-site parking is limited.

Free shuttle services are available from Timberline High School, 6120 Mullen Street SE, Mountain View Elementary, 1900 College Street SE, and Lakes Elementary, 6211 Mullen Road SE.

Shuttles will run every 15 minutes to and from the park, with all shuttles servicing all three school lots.

For more information, visit Lacey Parks' website.
