Two separate incidents last week have prompted Lacey Police to search for a man believed to have stolen a white pick-up truck from a construction yard.

On January 29, a man broke into a fenced construction yard in the 4000 block of 8th Avenue SE, Lacey police said in its Facebook post.

The man caused “significant damage” and stole multiple items, police added.

He drove away in a 90s BMW convertible with custom wheels, spoiler, tow hitch, and windshield sticker. The reverse light on the driver’s side was out.

Photos show that the convertible had a red body and a black roof, with a large sticker on the windshield.
