Lacey police seek suspect in armed ATM robbery

The Lacey Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect in an armed robbery of an ATM on Monday.

Lacey police said in a news release that an armed robbery occurred at the Umpqua Bank ATM on Sleater Kinney Road on Monday morning, April 25.

The suspect was described as a white male, 18 to 21 years old, with a thin build wearing a blue hoodie, blue sweatpants, and a gray cap.

Police said the suspect approached an individual who had just used the ATM, pointed a gun at them, then demanded their cash and cellphone.

The suspect then fled the scene in a cream-colored Ford Edge with switched license plates.
